Q: Why don't you use the "sliding pin" system for your accordion's? A: We used to, 17 years ago. The "sliding pin" system is considered archaic and is often bulkier and has two different metals, Stainless Steel and Aluminum, which can cause electrolysis and corrosion of metals.
